NTA UGC NET 2019 Exam: Candidates can switch between Paper 1 & 2|No Separate Time Allocated

In NTA UGC NET June 2019 Exam, there is no separate time allocated to Paper 1 & 2 and candidates have to attempt the whole exam in 3 hours time duration. NTA will conduct UGC NET June 2019 Exam on 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th June 2019.

NTA has started conducting UGC NET June 2019 Exam from 20th June 2019 and will last till 28th June 2019.  This exam will be held in 101 subjects across the country for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Posts. This time there is no separate time allocated to Paper 1 & 2 and candidates have to attempt the whole exam in 3 hours time duration. NTA UGC NET June 2019 Exam consisted of two papers, i.e., Paper 1 & 2. However, this time both the papers were conducted in single session of three hour duration with no separate timing allocated to Paper 1 & 2. Earlier Paper-I and II are conducted separately in two sessions with a break of 30 minutes between them.

In Paper-I, questions were of generic in nature, intending to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It was mainly designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-II was based on the subject selected by the candidate.

Both the papers consisted of only Objective Multiple Choice questions (MCQs) and candidates have to attempt total 150 questions in 3 hours as all questions are compulsory. There will be no negative marking. So, Candidates are advised to brush all the above important topics to clear the cut-off marks of Paper-1 UGC NET 2019 Exam.
