CBSE Board exams for Classes 10 and 12 are set to begin on February 15, 2025. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced special measures to assist students traveling to their exam centers. These efforts aim to provide hassle-free and smooth transportation, ensuring students reach their destinations on time.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), DMRC announced that students carrying their CBSE admit cards will be given priority at metro security checks and ticketing counters. This initiative is being implemented in partnership with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to accommodate the increased number of students and school staff commuting on exam days.
Special Metro Arrangements for Students
- Students with CBSE admit cards will be given priority at security frisking and ticket counters.
- DMRC staff have visited schools to inform principals about the nearest metro stations and available student support.
- Schools have been requested to display posters with details of the nearest metro station and a QR code for easy ticket booking.
- Special announcements will be made at metro stations to guide students.
- A detailed list of metro stations near exam centers is available on the DMRC website and mobile app for easy reference.
DMRC has urged students to plan their travel in advance to avoid delays and has wished all candidates the best for their exams. Nearly 42 lakh students are expected to appear for the CBSE exams across 7,842 centers in India and 26 countries abroad.
