cbse result 2025 class 12: What to do after CBSE 10th Result 2025?

The present CBSE post result activities and grievance redressal system is a three-fold linear procedure, mentioned as follows:

    1. Verification of marks
    2. Obtaining Photocopy of evaluated answer book
    3. Re-evaluation

In this system, a candidate applying for the process must follow the first step, that is verifying their marks first, in order to proceed with the next steps. This system has been updated to a new procedure according to the CBSE notice:

    1. Obtaining Photocopy of evaluated answer book
    2. Verification of marks or Re-evaluation or both

This new system will allow students to apply for verification of marks after receiving their photocopy of evaluated answer sheets. This allows for a smooth and transparent framework of post result grievance redressal. The dates and details of the revelation and verification will be intimated to students once the results for Class 10 are declared.

cbse.nic.in class 12: What is тАШRelative GradingтАЩ adopted by CBSE in marksheet in 2025

The ‘Relative Grading’ indicates that the grades are not determined on the marks range i.e. 91 to 100, 81 to 90 or so but on the basis of the group, the candidates fall into on the relative merit of the candidates. The grades vary from subject to subject based on the number of candidates passing the subject.

For awarding grades, all the passed students are put in a rank order divided into 8 equal groups and are awarded grades as follows:

    Grade

    Description

    A-1

Top 1/8th of the passed candidates

    A-2

Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

    B-1

Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

    B-2

Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

    C-1

Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

    C-2

Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

    D-1

Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

    D-2

Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

    E

    Essential Repeat

Taking the example of Economics, we will understand how the grading system works:

    Grades

Number of candidates passing ECONOMICS = 383647

    A1

    383647× тЕЫ  = 47955.87

Top 47956 candidates will get Grade A1

    A2

Next 47956 candidates will get Grade A2

    B1

Next 47956 candidates will get Grade B1

    B2

Next 47956 candidates will get Grade B2

    C1

Next 47956 candidates will get Grade C1

    C2

Next 47956 candidates will get Grade C2

    D1

Next 47956 candidates will get Grade D1

    D2

Next 47956 candidates will get Grade D2

In the ‘Relative Grading’ system adopted by the Board, a candidate obtaining identical marks in any two subjects may not get the same grade in those two subjects. The grades will be different based on the number of candidates passing the subject and their relative scores.
