A total of 45,516 students, representing 1.92% of all candidates, have scored more than 95% in the CBSE Class 10 exams 2025. Additionally, 199,944 students (8.43%) scored over 90%, showcasing a large group of high achievers across India’s student base.

Bengaluru has maintained its top-tier academic standing with a 98.90% pass percentage in the Class 10 CBSE exams 2025. Trivandrum and Vijaywada tied for the top spot at 99.79%, while Chennai was also strong with 98.71%.

Of the total 23,85,079 students registering for the CBSE Class 10 results, as many as 23,71,939 students appeared. The total number of students passing is 22,21,636 and the overall pass percentage this year is 93.66.

The CBSE result date of the last few years is given below. 

• In 2022- July 22

• In 2021- August 3

• In 2020- July 13

• In 2023- May 12

• In 2024- May 13 

• In 2025: May 13

The Supplementary examination for CBSE 12th exam 2025 will be conducted in the first/second week of July 2025, and it will be held on the same syllabus on which the main examinations 2025 were conducted. 

The overall pass percentage for the CBSE 12th exam result has improved by 0.41%. This year, the percentage of students in class XIl is 88.39%, which is better than the pass students were of last year i.e.87.98% of the 2024 examination.

The Supplementary examination for CBSE 12th exam 2025 will be conducted in the first/second week of July 2025, and it will be held on the same syllabus on which the main examinations 2025 were conducted.

6. Prayagraj had the lowest pass percentage at 79.53%.

• Transgender (2025): 100.00% (up from 50.00% in 2024)

• Girls have done better than Boys by 5.94% in 2025.

Relaxation for Teachers: By keeping evaluation work closed on Sundays and holidays, CBSE showed sensitivity to the work-life balance of teachers, many of whom are female. This thoughtful decision helps teachers stay refreshed and perform better during evaluation, ensuring a more balanced and sustainable work environment.  

Support during the Kumbh Mela: The second example underscores CBSE's collaboration with local authorities to facilitate the safe travel of students to examination centers during the Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj. Given the magnitude of the event, this plan was essential in ensuring that students could reach their examination centers without any hindrances.

To prevent unhealthy competition among students, CBSE has decided not to prepare or announce any merit list. The Board also does not assign first, second, or third divisions to students. 

However, CBSE will issue Merit Certificates to the top 0.1% of students who have scored the highest marks in each subject. These certificates will be made available in the student’s DigiLocker account.

CBSE will provide information after the results. This includes verification of marks. Students can ask for a photocopy of their answer books. Re-evaluation of answer books is also possible. Students who fail some subjects can take compartment examinations. Schedules for these processes will be on CBSE websites.

A total of 2,91,962 students which is 95.18% candidates have passed from Delhi region. 

A total of  1,29,095 students will be appearing for the CBSE Board 12th compartment exams 2025.

A total of 1,11,544 students have secured more than 90% in the CBSE Board 12th exam result 2025. This represents 6.59% of the total number of students who appeared for the exam.

In the CBSE 12th result 2025, a total of 24,867 students have scored more than 95%. This represents 1.47% of the total number of students who appeared for the exam.

JNV has the highest pass percentage rate of 99.29% in the CBSE 12th result 2025 where 99.29% students have passed. Kendriya Vidyalaya schools have the 2nd highest pass percentage rate of 99.05%. 

The CBSE 12th exam 2025 was held in a total of  7,330 exam centers for 19,299 schools.

In the CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations 2025, Vijayawada region recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.60%, followed closely by Trivandrum at 99.32% and Chennai at 97.39%. The region wise pass percentage for CBSE 12th result are as follows:

In the CBSE Class 12th examinations, a total of 17,04,367 students were registered. Out of these, 16,92,794 students appeared, and 14,96,307 students passed the exam.

The girls have shown exemplary performance in the CBSE 12th result 2025 by securing an overall pass percentage of 91.64%, which is 5.94 % more than the boys.

CBSE Class 12 Result OUT!

Students can also check results via DigiLocker, SMS, and the UMANG app. Printed mark sheets will be distributed by schools shortly after the online result declaration.

Over 40 lakh candidates have appeared for the CBSE Board 10th 12th exam 2025. Once the result is declared, candidates will be able to download the results online. 

CBSE has revamped its post-result grievance redressal mechanism for CBSE 10th, 12th result. Students seeking clarification or re-evaluation of their marks now need to undergo application submission, review by subject experts, and timely resolution of valid concerns. 

The overall pass percentage for CBSE 12th class was 87.98% while Class 10 recorded a pass rate of 93.60%. 

CBSE Board has a dedicated website for students to find the updated syllabus for their academic years. The official CBSE exam syllabus link is at cbseacademic.nic.in. Additionally, students can find their updated syllabus here.

Students must score at least 33 percent marks in both theory and practical papers for the CBSE 10th, 12th exam 2025. Those falling short by one or two marks may be awarded grace marks
