AP POLYCET which is the polytechnic Common Entrance Exam, conducted by the state board of technical education and training of Andhra Pradesh every year for the purpose of seeking admissions in the various governments based colleges which aids in providing diploma courses as well the course in private colleges in Andhra Pradesh. It was named as CEEP, but from the academic year of 2013-2014, it has renamed itself to be POLYCET.
Eligibility Criteria for AP Polycet examination
- Examination Candidates who have passed 10th or SSC are eligible to apply. The candidates who are currently appearing for final examinations are also eligible to apply for the examination.
- Candidates who have the “compartmental passed” written on the examination certificate are also eligible to apply for the examination.
How to appear for the examination?
Go to the official website of the State Board Of technical education and training. Fill the online application form. The form is available online from 6th of April 2014. The online application payment is around Rs 330 / -. Laste date of filling the application is 28th of April 2014. As per the official information, the test is to be conducted on the 25th of May 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Offline to students can get the application form from the nearby E-Seva center or at AP online Center.
According to the estimation, around 92,000 seats are filled from the AP region alone, for the POLYCET examination. The results are expected to be published on the 5th June 2014. This year, more than 2.5 lakh candidates are applying for the entrance examination. It is mandatory to read all the instructions carefully before applying for the examination form online. The mistake committed once cannot be omitted again and this can have a serious consequence on your certificate or result sheet. Therefore, fill the form will patience and full concentration.
