JEE Main 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Date of Birth:
Students Born on or after 1st October 1990 can be sit in JEE Main Exam 2017, 5 year age relaxation for ST/SC and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates
Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination:
Students Who has appeared in Class 12th on or before 2014 are not permitted to sit in JEE Main Exam 2017.
Number of subjects in the Qualifying Examination:
Candidate must have taken 5 subjects in Class 12th Exam can only sit in JEE Main Exam 2017.
Number of Attempts:
Candidates can be appeared only 3 times in JEE Main Exam 2017.
JEE Advanced 2015 Eligibility Criteria
1. Top 1,50,000 candidates of JEE Main Exam can only appeared in JEE Advanced 2017.
2. The Candidate Born on or after 1st October 1992 can be sit in JEE Main Exam 2017, 5 year age relaxation for ST/SC and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates
3. Only 2 attempts are permitted.
4. The candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in all the subjects in either 2016 or 2017.
5. The candidate should NOT have taken admission (irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program) OR even accepted admission by paying admission fee at any of the IITs or ISM in the past.
