The LBS center for Science and Technology in Thiruvananthapuram is the premier institute of computer training and consultancy. The center was started by the Government of Kerala with the main objectives of establishing a link between the industries and technical institutions so as to benefit the society through mutual interactions. The organizational set up of the center consists of a governing body and an executive committee. The chief minister, the government of Kerala is the chairman of the governing body and the minster for education is the Vice-chairman. The principle secretary for higher education is the chairman of the executive committee and the director of Technical education. There are joint directors, deputy directors, assistant directors, administrative officer, and other staff to help the set up in other matters.
The institution comprises of highly qualified personnel holding both graduate, post graduate and doctoral degrees with several years of hard core experience. Adding on, the professors recruited by the organization are authorized to conduct various programs that are undertaken by the center. LBS is a center that nourishes scholars and over the years it has been successful in providing employment for about 300 to 400 people.
The notification for LBS has been released and there is an entrance examination that is conducted to select the eligible candidates. The examination for LBS was conducted on 2nd of Feb and all details regarding the examination were displayed on the online portal. The examination is conducted under the government of Kerala and students appearing for such examinations are supposed to write Kerala State eligibility test. The admit card for the same was available from 20th January 2014, and students also had a choice of downloading from the official website www.lbskerala.com. It is also important for the students to remember the application number and date of Birth or site access as per the application form. For more details students must have visited the official website. Students can follow certain steps to get in touch with the application form.
- Log on to the Website www.lbscentre.org or www.lbskerala.com
- Then click the link SET-December 2013
- Next click `Print Your Admit Card’
- And enter the Application Number and Date of Birth or Site Access Key, when prompted.
- Then the Kerala Set Exam hall Ticket 2014 will be displayed on the next page
- Then download and take a printout of the Admit card displayed on the screen.
All these steps indeed prove to be of extreme importance.
