NSIT CEE 2014 is a combined entrance exam conducted every year by Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology which is affiliated to the University of Delhi for UG, PG and PH.D programmes. Students who are aspiring to take admission into undergraduate/bachelor engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) courses offered by the institute have to undergo this written examination. This entrance test is specifically for Delhi region students passing from schools, colleges and universities located within the Territory of National Capital.
Application Form
For applying NSIT CEE 2014, applicants need to do online registration on the official website of the institute www.nsit.in. A passport-size colored scanned photograph is required at the time of applying. After that you have to pay the exam free through Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card as per the convenience. Candidates are advised to preserve a copy of the form after submit the online form for further reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must have taken up JEE MAIN 2014
- Passed Senior Secondary with an aggregate of 60% in PCM (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.)
- Relaxation of 10% in aggregate is given to OBC candidates.
- For SC, ST- Just passing class XII or equivalent is required.
- Physically Challenged and Defense Sector candidates will get 5% relaxation in aggregate. (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry).
Date of Exam
NSIT CEE 2014 exam is normally conducted in the month of March or April. For session 2014-2015, the dates are yet to be announced by the institute. However, you can regularly watch this space for getting the latest information about Exam Dates, Syllabus, Result and Counseling Dates.
Result
NSIT CEE 2014 Results will be declared within few weeks after the conduction of examination. Applicants can check out their score on the official website of the Institute by just entering their role number. Merit list will be declared strictly as per the scores obtained by the candidate in the exam.
Counseling
After the declaration of NSIT CEE 2014 Results, applicants have to submit a non-refundable sum of Rs. 1000 for counseling registration. Following that, you can download the letter containing your counseling details. You need to report to the venue at earliest to avoid inconvenience. Physical presence of candidate along with all the necessary documents (original and photocopy) at the time of counseling.
Seat Allotment
Applicants would be allotted seats according to their JEE Main 2014 AIR, merit score in NSIT 2014 Counseling and seat availability at the moment.
