TIFR( Tata institute of Fundamental research) is a research institution in Mumbai which is dedicated to basic research in the field of mathematics and sciences. The research institution is located at Navy Nagar, Colaba, and Mumbai. The institution collects research mainly in natural sciences, mathematics, biological sciences and theoretical sciences, and this is considered one of the most outstanding research institutes all over the country. The institution was established in the year 1950, and there have been several contributions in the field of Mathematics which have proven to be extremely beneficial for the students. Apart from the best quality research provisions, the facilities of TIFR include a library with more than one hundred thousand books and journals. The library is full computerized and provides a microfilm, microfiche, audio-video, and compact disk reading. The institute conducts various workshops and majority of the students take part in the same. Such workshops prove to be extremely beneficial for the students as this helps in development and growth of the same. Similar to work shops, there are various seminars conducted by the institution which provides them insights about the entire course and its future prospects.

Applications with personal photos or edited copies uploaded would be rejected. Once the application form is submitted, students are provided with a login account and a password. This account is only allotted to the students once the entire application form procedure is completed. Students need to take a print out of the hall ticket, which is only possible when all kinds of procedures and formalities are completed. Applicants can either fill the form online or else they can fill up the demand draft and submit it at the concerned address. All these formalities are of extreme importance.
