What After KCET Round 3 Allotment?
Candidates allotted seats in Round 3 must complete the required admission process, including fee payment and reporting to the allotted college within the deadlines specified by KEA. The fee payment and admission-order download window is scheduled from September 8 to September 10, while candidates must report to their allotted colleges by September 11.
Candidates should also pay close attention to the choice rules applicable to their allotment. KEA had allowed Choice 4 only to candidates who received a seat for the first time in the third round. Candidates who had already been allotted a seat in earlier rounds and participated in upgradation were required to accept their final allotment. Reports on the counselling rules state that failure to accept an upgraded seat can attract a penalty of up to five times the prescribed fee.
Candidates are therefore advised to download their allotment details, complete fee payment within the deadline and report to the allotted institution on time to avoid problems with their admission.
