The registration process began yesterday for admissions to 33,857 vacant seats in Engineering / Technology / Architecture courses. Candidates interested in participating in the counselling round must complete their registration process before midnight today.

How to Register for the WBJEE Decentralised Counselling Round
There are a total of two phases of the Decentralised counselling round for WBJEE. Each phase will have two rounds of counselling. Follow the steps to register for Phase 1, Round 1 counselling.

Step 2: Click on WBJEE
Step 3: Click on the Decentralised counselling link
Step 4: Click on New Registration
Step 5: Enter all required details
Step 6: Fill out the application form
Step 7: Enter the choices in the order of preference
Step 8: Save and click on Submit
WBJEE Round 1 Decentralised Counselling 2026: Merit List on September 10
The merit list for WBJEE Round 1 decentralised counselling will be available on the official website on September 10, 2026. Students who have registered and entered their choices will be allotted seats based on merit. Candidates allotted seats in Phase 1, Round 1 of WBJEE Decentralised counselling can report to the allotted colleges with all required documents from September 10 to 12, 2026. When reporting to the allotted colleges, students must make sure they have all relevant documents ready with them. Candidates must have the originals and photocopies of all documents when reporting for admissions.
