BPCL is one of the largest companies which provide candidates a personal and professional development. Candidates applying for management trainee should possess the qualification of full time B.E/B. tech/ B.Sc in first attempt in the discipline of mechanical/ chemical/ electrical/ civil/ instrumentation engineering ( excluding automation/ production/ manufacturing/ industrial/ electronics engineering) from Indian universities/institutes/ colleges recognized by AICTE/ UGC.
Candidates in the final year of their engineering studies can also apply for the same. However, they should also fulfill the eligibility criteria in all aspects such as educational qualification, percentage of marks, age and if the candidates are short listed for interview, they will have to submit documentary proof of having passed the degree examination with the prescribed percentage of marks.
Candidates who are provisionally selected by BPCL are supposed to undergo a pre- employment medical examination before joining. The health’s of the candidates are assessed by company’s authorized medical officers and the appointment for the same is subject to meeting the medical standards prescribed by the company.
The decision on medical fitness by company’s authorized medical officers nominated hospitals would be final and binding on all categories.
Apart from the medical aspects, it is important to know how to apply for the same. Candidates need to apply online. After the submission of the BPCL online application, a unique BPCL application ID along with the completed application forms will be generated. After successfully submitting the online application, candidates will receive an e-mail with all the login details and the completed application from enclosed as a PDF file. It is also important for the candidates to have a print out of the completed form, affix a recent photograph in the space provided and sign in the designated place. Also the photograph in the BPCL application must be identical to the one used in the GATE 2015 application.
