Highly awaited results of the first attempt of Session 1 (April 2026) are expected to be released online between June 5 to June 8, 2026. The technical desks are in a process of completing the data synchronization patterns between the central hosting nodes for error-free downloads.

The State CET Cell has officially shut all channels to collect grievances. The MHT CET 2026 answer key is the final one and cannot be challenged by students and coaching institutes further. These solution sets are used to define the upcoming percentile(s) and no requests for re-evaluation will be considered.

The 2026 registration cycle made Aadhaar authentication and APAAR IDs mandatory for all applicants. This digital identity lock links your exam records directly to your national student profile, making identity fraud impossible during the upcoming counseling rounds.

To claim a seat under the lucrative Maharashtra State (Type-A) quota, candidates must show an authentic Domicile Certificate or a birth certificate proving they were born in the state. Candidates without this proof will be moved to the All India category, where competition for seats is much tighter.

The Maharashtra CET 1st and 2nd attempt results for PCM and PCB entrances are expected to be announced soon. The link to check the result will be available on the official website. Candidates who have appeared for the exams need to login with their credentials to check the result and download the marksheets.

The enrollment desks will strictly enforce the current state government rules regarding SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Class) and OBC quotas. Applicants utilizing these reservations must ensure their Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) documents are updated and valid for the current fiscal year.

Candidates should note that application and counseling processing fees saw a slight increase this cycle, rising by ₹300 for general categories and ₹200 for reserved fields. These revised rates helped fund the upgraded server networks needed to manage the massive multi-attempt infrastructure.

Students holding a valid polytechnic diploma can bypass the scorecard rules to explore Direct Second Year B.Tech (DSE) lateral entry options. The state cell will launch an independent, separate counseling portal for diploma holders shortly after the primary CAP rounds wrap up.

The base eligibility rule for counseling is holding a non-zero percentile score on your MHT CET card. Even a modest percentile score opens up pathways to hundreds of private, state-approved professional colleges spread across dynamic industrial hubs like Pune, Nagpur, and Nashik.

Securing a valid percentile on the scorecard automatically qualifies you to register for the upcoming Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds. This automated, state-wide counseling framework handles seat allocations for engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture programs across Maharashtra.

The admission authorities will release two separate merit ranking lists during the counseling setup. The primary directory compiles ranks based on MHT CET scores, while the secondary list tracks All India candidates applying through their JEE Main percentiles, ensuring distinct, structured entry points.

To prevent massive ties among high scorers, the percentile results are calculated to six decimal places (e.g., 99.987654%). This extreme precision is essential for building a clean, indisputable merit hierarchy when allocating popular engineering streams like Computer Science.
