CBSE OMR Sheet 2021: As per the updates, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official notice stating the instructions for filling the CBSE OMR sheet 2021. Along with the important instructions, the board has also the sample of the CBSE OMR sheet to get an idea on how to fill answers through the OMR sheet. CBSE is using OMR sheets as the answering medium for the first time. Students will have to fill in their name, father's name, CBSE term 1 board exam roll number, exam day and date, exam centre number, name, subject code and name, and school code and name in the OMR sheet. They can check all of this information on the CBSE board exam admit card that has been released today. 

CBSE has also instructed the schools to hold a practice session for the candidates and teach them how to use the OMR sheet before the examination. It has further ordered the affiliated schools to download the OMR sheet in advance and hand over the same to the teachers to make them aware of its use as well. Those appearing for the CBSE Term 1 exam can check below the important details about the OMR sheet. 

CBSE OMR Sheet For Term 1 2021 Board Exams - Important Details 

  • Each OMR sheet will have 60 questions with a response box and a circle. Students have to darken the correct choice amongst the options as mentioned in the circle. They will have to write the same in the box provided to the adjacent and darken the extra circle provided in the OMR sheet.
  • Also, the basic details of the students will be already provided in the Term 1 OMR sheet. They only have to write the question paper code and fill the correct answers in it.
  • The students have to fill the OMR response sheet with a black/blue ballpoint pen only. They are not allowed to use a pencil. If any students use pencil then some action will be taken.
  • The students should make sure that they are marking the correct response against the question number available in the OMR sheet. For example, if there are 45 questions in the OMR sheet then they have to provide the correct answer for these 45 questions only. If they mark answers for any questions starting from serial number 46 then it will not be evaluated in the sheet.
  • While answering the questions, students have to darken the correct answers and then write the same in the adjacent box. If they write the answer in the box but fails to darken the circle then that answer will not be accepted.
  • If the student darkens the circle but do not fill the box or left the 4 circles, the box and last circle blank then the answer will be considered as unattempted.
