CBSE Term 1 Board Exams 2022: Check Important notice for 10th, 12th students participating in Sports and International Olympiads

CBSE Term 1 Exam Notice

CBSE Term 1 Board Exams 2022: As per the latest updates, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important notice for 10th, 12th students who are participating in International/National Sports events and in International Olympiads. The authorities have released the official notice at cbse.gov.in. This time, CBSE Term 1 board exams 2022 will be conducted in offline mode for class 10th and 12th students, following COVID-19 safety protocols. 

CBSE Official Notice 

The official notice stated that the National/International sports events must be recognised by the Sports Authority of India. CBSE Term 1 board exams 2022 for such students will not be held in case the dates of their events are clashing. The evaluation and result for such students will be prepared based on the Term 2 exams alone. For students to be exempted from Term 1 exams, schools must share this information with CBSE, latest by 25th November 2021. The Regional offices of CBSE should then check all the requests and documents received and must send confirmation to schools. 

Important Points of CBSE Term 1 Board Exam Notice 

  • Class 10th and 12th students participating in National/International Sports events and International Olympiads are informed that no special examination will be conducted for Term 1 exams. 
  • In case, the dates of events, including the dates of the journey are clashing with Board exams, their result for this academic year will be declared based on scores of Term 2 exams. 
  • Students must note that those participating in International Olympiads must be recognised by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education.
  • The official notice mentions that this must be "subject to the condition of production of a letter issued by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education in this regard."
  • Even those who have tested positive for COVID-19 during the conduct of exams can produce valid test reports and recommendations of a registered medical practitioner for this purpose. 

CBSE Term 1 Admit Card 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released CBSE term 1 admit card 2022. Students of class 10th and 12th can download it from the official website - cbse.gov.in. The admit card will include exam centre details and instructions for students among other details. Also, the private students appearing for the CBSE board exam can download the admit card in online mode whereas the regular students can get CBSE admit card 2022 from their respective schools.
