National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) invited applications for recruitment to Staff Nurse and other posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 17 September 2016.
Under NIMHANS recruitment 2016 out of total 39 posts, 13 posts are for Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology, 01 post for Veterinarian, 12 posts for clinical psychologist, 11 for psychiatric social worker, 03 posts for Junior scientific officer, 02 posts for field information officer, 01 for database administrator & software engineer, 01 for Senior Administrator, 05 for Staff Nurse and 01 post for Office Assistant.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology: a) I or II class M.A./ M.Sc Degree in Psychology with Clinical Psychology as one of the subject or equivalent qualification AND b) Ph.D /D.Sc in Clinical Psychology of a recognized University or equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution. Candidate should also have 3 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty obtaining the qualifying degree as above.
Eligibility for Veterinarian: Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Sciences. 2 years experience in large animal house of biomedical institution
Eligibility for Clinical Psychologist: a) I or II class M.A/ M.Sc. degree in Psychology OR equivalent qualification in Psychology of a recognized University / Institution AND b) DMP / DMSP / M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology OR equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution.
Eligibility for Psychiatric Social Worker: a) I or II class Master’s Degree in Social Work from a recognized University / Institution AND b) I or II Class two years M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work from a recognized University / Institution.
Eligibility for Junior Scientific Officer (Under the Department of Clinical Psychology): M.A in Psychology I or high II class with M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology.
Eligibility for Junior Scientific Officer (Under the Department of NI & IR): Post Graduation (M.Sc/B.Tech/MBBS) with three years experience in Image processing and sequence programming using Matlab and Linux based Neuroimaging tools.
Eligibility for Field Information Officer: Master in Sociology, Rural Development, Economics, Human Resources, Social Work or equivalent.
Eligibility for Data Base Administrator and Software Engineer: B.Tech(Comp.Sc) / M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
Eligibility for Sr. Administrator (Data Centre Operations): B.Tech/BE (Comp.Sc) / M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
Eligibility for Staff Nurse: a) Pass in PUC or equivalent and b) Registered “A” Grade Nurse under any State Nursing Council OR B.Sc Nursing with Registration under any state Nursing Council.
Eligibility for Office Assistant: Any Degree from a recognized University /Institution.
