COMEDK is the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka”. It is the consortium which determines the merit of students seeking admissions to the undergraduate courses in the member Institutions of the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust (KPCF). In 2014, 14 Medical colleges, 25 Dental colleges and more than 150 engineering colleges were in this consortium.
Every year a common entrance test has been organized by the COMEDK for the admission to various undergraduate professional courses. Candidates are shortlisted for different colleges on the basis of their merit in COMEDK UGET. The publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (Single window system) in so far as Member Institutions are concerned. The details will be published in due course on the official website of COMEDK UGET i.e. www.comedk.org.
