UPI has made it easier for Indians to pay while travelling abroad. The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is expanding globally. UPI is now available in Greece, making it easier for the tourist to pay easily without depending only on cash and foreign cards.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has had a discussion with Eurobank CEO Fokion Karavias on expanding India-Greece economic partnership during his visit to Greece. Piyush on Tuesday said that with UPI is now live in Greece.
