The Central Board of Secondary Education has informed all affiliated schools about the next exam cycle. The registration process for students of Classes 9 and 11 will begin soon. The submission of the List of Candidates or LOC for Classes 10 and 12 will also start soon. The board shared this important news with school principals through a fresh notice. This notice is for the 2026-27 academic session. It works as a prior intimation to schools. The board wants every school to be fully prepared before the process opens. Scroll to get more details.

What CBSE Affiliated Schools Must Keep Ready?

CBSE has listed the information that every school must prepare in advance. Each candidate needs a full name that matches the admission register. The date of birth, and gender of each student must be correct. The category of the student such as General, SC, ST, or OBC must be accurate. Full names of parents and guardians with correct spellings are a must. Subject-wise registration must follow the prescribed scheme of studies. Every candidate also needs a photograph and a signature in the specified format.

Common Mistakes That Create Big Problems

The CBSE board has also shared the issues faced in recent examinations. Many schools entered incorrect subject codes or wrong subjects. Some schools submitted wrong student or parent details. A few schools did not submit the LOC for their students at all. Others missed the prescribed timeline for submission. These errors led to correction requests after submission. They also caused avoidable delays and operational difficulties. The board said these mistakes continued even after repeated reminders. Such errors affect the board’s ability to maintain timelines and efficiency. Candidates also face undue problems because of these errors.

The board has once again requested all schools to verify every candidate detail before submission. A clean and correct submission now will save time later. Schools should prepare all data now and avoid last-minute corrections. This small effort will keep the examination process smooth for everyone.
