How Dasun Shanaka Struck the Fastest Century in CPL?
After St Kitts and Nevis Patriots invited to bat first, Shanaka came to bat at number four when his side had already a good start. The right-hander started in an aggressive fashion and found boundaries with ease as he brought up his half-century in just 24 balls.
He continued his brilliant form and made full use of Warner Park’s flat surface. Eventually, he completed his century in the final over of the innings with a brilliant six off Keon Gaston. Shanaka scored his hundred in just 39 deliveries, including 8 fours and 12 sixes. With this, he went past legendary names like Andre Russell and Chris Gayle in the list of fastest centuries in CPL history.
