Delhi: Ending all the speculations and rumours around the CBSE Board Exam Dates; the board has officially announced the CBSE Board 10th Date Sheet 2017 today. The official announcement of CBSE Board 10th Date Sheet 2017 ended all the rumours about delay in CBSE 10th Board Exam due to impending state elections in five states.

According to the official CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2017, the board exam would begin on 9th March 2017 with an elective paper and continue until 10th April 2017 when the last paper of Home Science would be held.

The CBSE 10th Time Table 2017 was declared in a press meet organized at the CBSE office in Delhi in the presence of CBSE Chairman Shri R.K Chaturvedi and other senior members of the board. While declaring the date sheet, the board conveyed their heartiest wishes to all the Principals, Teachers, Students and Parents for a successful year ahead.
As expected, this year, the CBSE 10th Board Exam has been delayed by a week due to the assembly elections 2017 to be held in the five states i.e. Punjab, Goa, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. However, the board has been very careful and has only delayed the exam by a week to avoid any admission problems later on. Putting to rest the rumours that the CBSE Results 2017 might also be delayed due to the postponement of the Board Exams, CBSE stated that “annual exam result will be declared on time as the board has adopted several IT initiatives which will aid in faster result processing”.
