SBI conducted the Clerk Preliminary Exam on 11 May 2016 for recruitment to 17140 posts of Junior Associates (Customer Sales and Support) and Junior Agricultural Associates. SBI opened up the recruitment process for Junior Associates (Customer Sales and Support) and Junior Agricultural Associates Posts from the candidates holding graduate degree in any discipline and the ones in between the age bar of 20-28 years. The application line for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2016 was closed on 28 April 2016.
SBI Clerk Exam 2016: Exam Pattern
The SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination was conducted for 100 marks for 01 hour duration. The examination paper included questions from English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The Clerk Prelims Exam 2016 is qualifying for the candidates to appear for the SBI Clerk Main Exam 2016 which comes under the second stage of SBI Clerk 2016 recruitment process. Candidates who will be shortlisted in the SBI Clerk Prelims 2016 will have to appear in SBI Clerk Mains 2016, the examination pattern of which would be as given below. After the declaration of SBI Clerk Results 2016
The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection and only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be added to the marks obtained in Interview (Phase-III) (if interview is held) for preparation of the final merit list. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the test (main examination) and interview (if interview is held) taken together.
