AICTE PG Scholarship 2021: The All India Council of Technical Education has begun the application process for the PG Scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year. The council invited online proposals from AICTE approved institutions and students in such institutions or courses. The PG students eligible for the scholarship will be provided through Direct Benefit Transfer mode for this academic year.
According to the notification issued by the AICTE, the last date for students to create IDs and submit the applications for the scholarships is December 31, 2021. The application verification for the PG scholarships will be conducted by January 14, 2022, and the AICTE has also instructed the institutions to verify the applications of the students immediately after the same is received on the online portal.

The login credentials for the AICTE PG Scholarship portal have been sent to the institutions. The scholarships have been introduced by the AICTE to ensure the development of technical education in India. The PG scholarship of Rs, 12,400 is being granted by the council per month for 24 months or the duration of the course to full-time GATE-GPAT qualified students in AICTE approved PG programmes in the AICTE affiliated institutions. The scholarship is being granted from the date of commencement of classes until the date of completion of the classes.
The notification further states that the scholarship being granted is not extendable under any circumstances and candidates eligible for the scheme can visit the official website of AICTE - aicte-india.org for further details regarding the scholarship applications.
