NEET 2021: As per the updates, National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) application correction facility till 13th October 2021. Candidates can now modify the details submitted during the NEET 2021 phase 2 and phase 1 registration up to 11.50 pm. To edit the application form candidates will have to visit the official website - neet.nta.nic.in. Also, a direct link to modify in the NEET correction window 2021 has been provided below. To edit the NEET application form 2021, candidates need to enter the application number and password. In the NEET phase 1 application form, candidates can only edit gender, nationality, email, category and sub-category. While all the details of the NEET phase 2 registration form can be edited.

Extension of NEET Application 2021 Correction Window

As per the National Testing Agency, the extension in the correction of NEET application form 2021 has been provided after receiving requests from the candidates. The details filled in the correction window of NEET 2021 must be correct as the details once filled cannot be edited later. Earlier, the NEET 2nd phase registration last date was 10th October 2021, till 11:50 pm.

NEET 2021 correction facility, along with phase 2 registration, started on 1st October. Earlier, candidates were allowed to modify only the information submitted during the first phase of the application. However, during the extended window, candidates are allowed to make changes to the details submitted during phase 2 registration as well.

How to make corrections in the NEET 2021 application window?

As stated in the official notification, “The interested candidates may avail this facility as the Last and Final opportunity for correcting their particulars which were filled in the first and second phase of the online application form of NEET (UG) – 2021.” Therefore, candidates are advised to go through the steps to know how to make changes in the NEET application correction window -

• Step 1: Go to the official website of NEET - ntaneet.nic.in.
• Step 2 - On the homepage, click on the login window.
• Step 3: In the candidate login, enter the application number and password.
• Step 4: Click on the link stating "Corrections in NEET (UG)-2021 Application’.
• Step 5: Edit/delete/modify the details in NEET application form 2021.

Information that can be modified in the extended NEET 2021 correction window are - gender, email address, nationality, category, sub-category and modification in the second phase of NEET registration. After editing the details in the NEET application form 2021, candidates need to enter the security pin. If aspirants want to make more corrections, they are required to click on the 'back button or select the 'preview and submit' option to save the changes successfully.

NEET 2021 Answer key

As per the updates, NEET 2021 provisional answer key is expected to be released after 13th October, once the correction facility closes. The NTA will also send OMR response sheets and scorecards to candidates via email after closing the correction window. However, the exact date and time will be soon released by the official body.
