    Mathura: Sanskriti University has added another feather to its cap with the varsity chancellor, Mr Sachin Gupta being named in the World book of Records. Mr Gupta has been honoured with this unique distinction for his outstanding work in the field of social activism, education and medical health in the country. He was honoured ceremoniously for his achievement in a brief event held in in the University Auditorium.

    The honour to be part of the World Book of Records is provided to only a few people globally. Those honoured with a place in the ‘World Book of Records’ have a promising track record of good work for the betterment of the society. Mr Sachin Gupta, Chancellor, Sanskriti University was awarded the honour in a ceremony held at the campus auditorium of the varsity. The award was presented by Dr DiwakarSukul, Chairman of the World Book of Records London and Dr HC Ganesia, chairman of Bharat Gaurav Awards Committee.

    Addressing the function, Dr Sukul said that the World Book of Records is an organization committed to finding talented people who are capable or setting new world records or breaking the ones that already exist. His organization inspires people to push the envelope further in all the fields to create new records and also finds and lists downs achievement of people who are doing great work in their respective fields. He also reiterated that from India; Amritsar’s Golden Temple, UddhavThackrey and former Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling – the longest serving CM in India (27 years), has been honoured to be part of World Book of Records. With inclusion of Sanskriti University Chancellor in this list, the university’s status and pride has grown to the global level. 

    Bharat Garuav Award Committee Chairman Dr Ganesia graced the function as the chief guest on the occasion. He said that people who work for the betterment of the society deserve the honour to be part of the World Book of Records. He also said that the World Book of Records has been working since a long time to identify, recognize, honour and inspire people who are doing examplarywork in their fields.

    Mr Sachin Gupta accepted the honour bestowed upon him and thanked the guests for their kind words. In his acceptance speech he said he believes only in serving the people and the society. He has taken up the mission of developing talented and cultured youth who can be a partner in the national building process. He wants to ensure that there is no dearth of hard-working and talented people who can contribute to national development. He is also committed to work for the specially-abled people and will continue to persevere for their cause.

    The guests inaugurated the award ceremony by lighting the lamps. This was followed by introduction of the guests by Vice Chancellor Dr.Rana Singh and Pro Vice Chancellor DrAbhay Kumar. The event was also graced by OSD Meenakshi Sharma, Executive Director P. C. Chhabra and all the faculty members of Sanskriti University.
