SBI PO Recruitment Notification 2024-25: The State Bank of India (SBI) has recently issued the notification for the employment of the 600 Probationary Officers. The notification is released on 26 December on the official website of the bank (sbi.co.in). The online registration for this post began on 27 December. The candidates can submit their application on or before the last date which is 16 January 2025 on bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings.
The recruitment will be done in three Phases i.e. Phase 1 (Preliminary Examination), Phase 2 (Main Exam) and Phase 3 (Psychometric Test, Group Exercise and Interview Interview). Candidates will be finally selected on the basis of phase 2 and phase 3 rounds.

SBI PO Educational Qualification 2025
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University
- Final Year/ Semester students may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30 April 2024

SBI PO Selection Process 2025
The selection process for SBI PO consists of three phases:
- Preliminary Examination: This phase is qualifying in nature and includes three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for the Mains exam based on their performance.
- Mains Examination: The Mains exam comprises objective tests and a descriptive test. The total marks for the Mains exam are 250, with a merit list prepared based on these scores.
- Interview and Group Exercises: Candidates who qualify in the Mains exam will undergo an interview and group exercises.
- Final Selection: The final selection will be based on a combination of Mains scores (75 marks) and interview/group exercise scores (25 marks). The final merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate scores from the Mains examination and the interview/group exercises.
