Rishabh Pant has gone past Shubman Gill in most World Test Championship (WTC) runs in a landmark moment. The left-handed wicketkeeper-batter achieved this feat during the second India vs Sri Lanka Test in Colombo on Monday. With this feat, Pant has now gone to the top of the list, featuring some of the greatest Test batters, including Virat Kohli.
After deciding to bat first after winning the toss, Indian batters batted brilliantly, with both Gill and Pant scoring commanding half-centuries as India eye a massive first-innings total.

Although Pant has overtaken Gill as India’s highest WTC run-scorer, Gill is not far behind and things can quickly turn around as both are still young batters.
