Diwali Holidays: TN Schools closed on October 31 and November 1

TN Diwali School Holidays: Tamil Nadu state government has announced the Diwali holiday dates for schools, colleges and government offices. According to the notification issued, Diwali will be celebrated on October 31, 2024. However, the state has also announced a public holiday for November 1, 2024. Considering this, schools will re-open on November 3, 2024.

As per the official notification issued, November 1 has been announced as a public holiday considering the welfare of students, parents, teachers and government officials returning after Diwali celebrations.

It must also be noted that to compensate for the additional holiday, November 9, 2024 will be working for all government institutions.
