UPSEE Examinations: According to media reports, Abdul Kalam Technical University will not be conducting the Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Entrance Exam also known as UPSEE from the next academic session of 2021-22. The admissions will now be conducted based on the JEE Main scores. IPSEE is conducted for the admissions to the 1.40 lakh engineering seats offered across 750 colleges in the state.
Students who wish to apply for the engineering admissions are advised to prepare for the JEE Main examinations by downloading the National Test Abhyas app from the Google play store. Candidates who wish to apply for the admissions can also take the mock tests which will be uploaded in the app.
The app will also be providing free coaching to the students studying in secondary schools preparing for the JEE Main examinations in order to make them familiar with the examination pattern followed for JEE Main.
The JEE Main, also known as the Joint Entrance Examination is conducted for the admissions to the B.Tech and B.E programmes offered across the engineering colleges in the country. The students who qualify the JEE Main examinations will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exams conducted for admissions to IITs and other national institutions.
JEE Main Examinations
The Education Ministry has asked the National Testing Agency to prepare a new syllabus for the JEEMain examinations. The NTA will be conducting an assessment of the situation in the different states before finalising the new syllabus for the national level entrance examination. The JEEMain 2021 examinations are scheduled to be conducted in February 2021 for which the applications will be available from next month onwards.
