Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia and Michelle Li of Canada on 28 June 2015 won the men's and women’s singles title of the Canada Open Badminton tournament respectively.
In the finals played at Calgary, Wei defeated Ng Ka Long Angus of Hong Kong 17-21 13-21 and Li defeated Kaori Imabeppu of Japan 21-17 25-23.
This was second back to back title for the former World Number One following an eight-month doping ban. On 22 June 2015, he won the US Open.
The mixed doubles event was won by Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen (China). They defeated Kaixiang Huang and Sijie Wang (China) 17-21 21-12 21-18.
The women's doubles title was won by Indian pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwni Ponappa. They defeated Dutch pair of Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek in straight games of 21-19, 21-16.
Canada Open Badminton tournament was held between 23 June 2015 and 28 June 2015.
