As per the news reports, this year Assam HSLC Result 2016 registered a healthy pass percentage of 62.79%. The success ratio in this year’s Assam 10th Result is marginally better than 2015’s record of 62.20%.
Reports have also suggested that the Assam Board HSLC Result will be made public by SEBA chairman Shri Dhandev Mahanta at the board office in Guwahati. For the academic year 2015-16, the Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Exam was held from 18 February - 9 March, 2016. Since the completion of Assam 10th Board Exam, a total of 3.8 lakh students have been waiting with bated breath for the declaration of SEBA Results 2016. The SEBA Exam scheduled was marred with many problems and issues. The ongoing Assam Assembly elections also affected the schedule and the process of bringing out the SEBA HSLC Results on time. Despite such odds, the SEBA has managed to keep up its promise and bring out the Assam 10th Result 2016 on time.

This year, the total number of students expecting their Assam 10th Class Result 2016 is higher compared to last year. As every year, the SEBA would be issuing the original HSLC Result certificate and mark sheets later on. Until then, students are advised to hold on to the softcopy or printed copy of Assam 10th Result 2016 obtained from the website, for reference purposes.
However, students must also keep in mind that saved or printed copy of result scorecard is not an official document and will not be accepted for admission purposes to higher secondary schools. Therefore, students are advised to procure original documents from their respective schools soon.
