Eligibility
Age limit: (as on 1 January 2013)
Minimum: 35 years
Maximum: 45 years
(Upper age limit is relax-able up to 3 years for the SC / ST / OBC candidates
Experience: At-least seven years in continuous practice as an Advocate as on 1 January 2013.
Examination: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written examination followed by Interview.
Written examination and viva-voce will be conducted at the exam centre before the High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur or at such other places as may be specified by the High Court.
Candidates will be called for the Viva-voce on the basis of merit of their performance in the written examination. Selection will be done on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in both, the written examination and viva-voce.
Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their clearing the required medical examination of physical fitness by a Medical Board.
Admit card will be made available for download & print on the website of the High Court www.cghighcourt.nic.in 15 days before the date of written examination.

Examination Fees: Non-refundable examination fees of Rs. 700 (for bonafide SC / ST / OBC residents of Chhattisgarh) / Rs. 1000 (for all other candidates) is to be deposited through a fee payment Challan in any branch of SBI.
How to Apply: Interested eligible Advocates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with fee payment challan’s copy and attested copies of required certificates / testimonials to ‘The Registrar General, High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bodri, Bilaspur (C.G.) Pin – 495220’ so as to reach the Registry of this High Court on or before 24 September 2013 till 1700 hours.
The applications can also be dropped in the "Drop Box" kept in the Registry office during the office hours i.e. from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on every working day till the prescribed last date.
On the envelope, candidates should super-scribe ‘Application for District Judge (Entry Level) Examination 2013 by Direct recruitment’ and ‘Advt. No. 03/S & A Cell/2013’.
