Famous Hollywood actor Olaf Pooley passed away on 14 July 2015 following congestive heart failure. He was 101. He is survived by his son Seyton, daughter Kirstie and four grandchildren.
Pooley was most famous for his role as villainous scientist Professor Stahlman in Doctor Who show, which he starred in during the 1970s.
Pooley was also known for his role in another cult series, Star Trek: Voyager, in which he played the Cleric in the 2000 episode Blink of an Eye, which was directed by his then-wife, Gabrielle Beaumont.
He was the oldest-living actor to have starred in both cult classics Doctor Who and Star Trek: Voyager.
He was also a guest director at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and directed Anthony Hopkins in The Waltz of the Toreadors.
However, in the later years, Pooley turned to painting and was a permanent artist in residence at the Santa Monica Art Studios in California.
