INCOIS Jobs Notification:

Earth System Sciences Organization (ESSO) – Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), Hyderabad invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Scientific Assistant ‘A’ and other posts in various disciplines. Posts are on Regular/ Contractual Basis, initially for the period of 02 (two) years which may be extendable as required. The eligible candidates can apply Online for the posts through the ESSO-INCOIS’s Website www.incois.gov.in so as to reach on or before 22 February 2017 up to 05:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria for INCOIS Scientific Assistant ‘A’ and Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientific Assistant ‘A’: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the respective discipline or Diploma (03 years) in the concerned discipline of Engineering or Technology or its equivalent.
2. Project Scientist ‘D’/ ‘C’/ ‘B’: Possess Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) or B.E./ B. Tech. in appropriate discipline of Engineering.
3. Project Assistant: Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (whichever applicable) in the appropriate discipline.
4. Lab Attendant: Possess ITI Course in respective trade.

Experience Required:

1. Project Scientist ‘D’: 07 years
2. Project Scientist ‘C’/ Lab Attendant: 03 years
3. Project Assistant: 02 years (wherever applicable).

Age Limit:

1. Scientific Assistant ‘A’: 28 years.
2. Project Scientist ‘D’: 50 years
3. Project Scientist ‘C’: 40 years
4. Project Scientist ‘B’: 35 years
5. Project Assistant: 28 years
6. Lab Attendant: 25 years
7. OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD Candidates & Others: As per norms.

Selection Procedure for INCOIS Scientific Assistant ‘A’ and Other Jobs:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test (for the post of Scientific Assistant ‘A’ (Regular post)/ Project Assistant (Contractual)/ Lab Attendant) and Personal Interview (for the post of Project Scientist ‘D’/ ‘C’/ ‘B’), which will be conducted by the administration.
