Leveraging Economic Growth for Collective Prosperity in South Asia - edited by Rashpal Singh, Sucha Singh Gill and Neetu Gaur

Hamid Ansari, the Vice President of India on 6 February 2014 released a book entitled Leveraging Economic Growth for Collective Prosperity in South Asia at a function in New Delhi. The book has been edited by Rashpal Singh, Sucha Singh Gill and Neetu Gaur.

The book has been brought out by the Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development (CRRID), Chandigarh. It is a compilation of selected papers of experts from South Asia, which were presented during the conference of CRRID held in March 2013. The book includes the contributions from diplomats, industrialists, academicians and businessmen. It provides a perspective on collectively sharing the prosperity among the countries of the region.

Vice President in his address during the book launch said that the South Asian countries can live in an escalating harmony and the two major areas, water and energy can play a significant role in the effort.
