The Delhi state Government on 17 September 2012 announced to provide three subsidised cooking gas cylinders to the Antodaya Anna Yojana, Below Poverty Line and Jhuggi Ration Card holders in the national capital. These will be in addition to the six subsidised cylinder limit announced by the Union government of India.
The move will benefit over 3.56 lakh such card holders of the city.
