HDFC Bank, India’s second largest private sector bank, on 17 September 2012 commissioned its 10001st Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at Kovalam in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala. The launch of the 10001st ATM in Kerala follows the inauguration of the 10000th ATM, commissioned last week in Ajmer Sharif, Rajasthan.
The launch reflects the bank’s endeavour to provide all forms of electronic channels-- ATMs, net banking and mobile banking, for customers.
