The three million strong Indian Diaspora in the United States (US) launched Mission 2022 on 22 September 2015. It was launched in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) to make US-India partnership a defining partnership of the 21st century.
The Mission 2022 will have a series of dialogues with the Diaspora over the next seven years as India turns 75. These dialogues will be held every six months.
The growing Indian-American Diaspora is heavily invested in the American system and can rise to be the backbone of this critical partnership and help fuel the US & India's mutual growth story.
The Mission was launched during a reception hosted by CII and Indian Diaspora.
