Mahindra Satyam, the IT consulting and services company on 15 October 2012 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Dehradun-based University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) to facilitate joint research and development projects and consultancies in the oil and gas industry.
The agreement will allow the students and faculty of engineering disciplines of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies to gain industrial exposure and acquire practical competencies through training from Mahindra Satyam’s experts.
And on the other hand, University of petroleum and Energy Studies will design certificate programs and conduct training sessions for the engineers at Mahindra Satyam.
Mahindra Satyam is one of the first organisations to be associated with University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.
The tie-up is going to help both the organisations in exchanging skill-sets enhancing and strengthening their resources through mutual exposure.
