RBI, Nepal Rastra Bank signed MoU for Exchange of Supervisory Information

The RBI has so far entered into MoU with supervisors of 27 countries and Letter for Supervisory Co-operation and Statement of Co-operation with supervisors of one country each.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 14 September 2015 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Supervisory Cooperation and Exchange of Supervisory Information.

The MoU was signed by Meena Hemchandra, Executive Director of RBI and Nepal Rastra Bank’s Executive Director Narayan Prasad Paudel in New Delhi. With this agreement, RBI seeks to promote greater co-operation and share supervisory information among the authorities.
