Sprint star Usain Bolt on 5 July 2012 withdrew his name from the Samsung Diamond League meet in Monaco on 20 July 2012 due to slight problem at Jamaican Olympics trials. He was prepared for 200 meter race at Diamond League.

He was suffered with a shock in his right hamstring after finishing in 200 meters at Jamaican Olympics trials which took place on 1 July 2012. He was second to Yohan Blake in 200 meters. He was also defeated by Blake in 100 meters in Kingston as well. Bolt withdrew his name from Diamond League to get enough time for treatment and time to prepare for the Olympic Games in London.

Bolt is the three-time Olympic champion and five times world record holder. He was born on 21 August 1986. He was the record holder in 100 meters, 200 meters and 4X100 meters relay race.
