Tata Starbucks appointed Sumi Ghosh as Chief Executive Officer

Tata Starbucks on 17 December 2015 announced the appointment of Sumi Ghosh as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 1 January 2016.

The announcement came after Avani Davda resigned from the position of CEO of the Seattle-based coffee chain.

Before the appointment, Ghosh served as vice president of the US mid-west region for Starbucks. She has been with Starbucks as a group for the last eight years and comes with over three decades of retail industry experience.
