NDA Salary 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the UPSC NDA salary and allowances on its official website. The selected male/female candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs 56,100/- (starting pay in Level 10) per month during the training period. After completing the training period, the selected candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenant with a pay scale of Rs 56,100-Rs 1,77,500. After that, the candidates will get the chance to participate in promotions and get salary increments.

What is NDA Training Period Salary?
The selected candidates will undergo training at the National Defence Academy for the services, i.e., Army, Navy and Air Force, and will receive the training benefits during this period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be posted as Lieutenants and receive the salary on pay level 10 of the pay scale of Rs 56100-Rs 177500. NDA Perks and Allowances

Other Allowances with NDA Salary
Siachen Allowance: Rs 42,500/- per month.
Uniform Allowance: Rs 20,000/- per year.

Hostel Subsidy: Rs 6,750 per month per child for two eldest surviving only. Hostel Subsidy is admissible from Nursery to 12th Class.

NDA Salary 2024: Allowance In Case of Death or Disablement
Selected officers will get monetary benefits as admissible to the NDA salary in case of disablement or death.
In case of Disablement
(i) Monthly ex-gratia amount of Rs. 9,000/- per month.
(ii) Ex-gratia disability award @ Rs. 16200/- per month shall be payable in addition for 100% of disability during period of disablement, subject to prorata reduction in case the degree of disablement is less than 100%. No disability award shall be payable in cases where the degree of disablement is less than 20%.
(iii) Constant Attendant Allowance (CAA) @ Rs 6750/- per month for 100% disabled on the recommendation of the Invalidating Medical Board (IBM).
In Case of Death
(i) Ex-gratia amount of Rs. 12.5 lakhs to the NoK.
(ii) Monthly ex-gratia amount of Rs. 9000/- per month to the NoK.
Note: 1. The Ex-gratia awards to Cadets (Direct)/NoK shall be
sanctioned purely on an ex-gratia basis and the same shall not be treated as
pension for any purpose.
- Dearness Relief at applicable rates shall be granted on monthly ex-gratia
as well as an ex-gratia disability award.
