Eligibility Criteria for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Master degree in Zoology/Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject in undergraduate course from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks. Age Limit: Not be more than 28 years as on 30 September 2020.
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master degree in Zoology/Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject in undergraduate course from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks. At least one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least two years of post M.Sc. research experience. Age Limit: 32 years as on 30 September 2020.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply for Zoological Survey Of India (ZSI) Recruitment 2020 through the prescribed application format on or before 30 September 2020. Persons should submit the duly filled-in applications with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications, research experience, proof for date of birth etc., along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations and ‘NOC’ from present employer (if employed) to The Director, Zoological Survey of India (ZSI), M-Block, New Alipore, Kolkata by Speed Post/Registered Post super scribed on the top of the envelope Application for the post of JRF/SRF within one month from date of publication of the advertisement. The last date of receipt of application from candidates in northeastern states, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir,Lahaul and Spiti, Pangi and Chamba, Andaman Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep will be 40 days from the date of advertisement.
