Witty has established himself through his career as a pioneer driven by innovation, strategic guidance, and unflinching devotion to world health. Before that, he had distinguished roles at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where he was CEO for almost a decade. Early Career in GSK

Witty became a management trainee in 1985 at Glaxo, which is now GlaxoSmithKline. He moved through different roles in sales, marketing, and general management at various locations worldwide, including the United States and Asia.

Andrew Witty became the CEO in 2008 till 2017. He led the company through tremendous changes and growth, bringing him to the limelight.
