The Class 10th result for Jharkhand Board is expected to be released on 7 May 2013 after 1:30PM by Jharkhand Academic Council. Candidates who had appeared for the examination should keep their roll numbers with them. The result will be declared on the official website of Jharkhand Academic Council.

The State of Jharkhand came into existence on the 15 November 2000 and Jharkhand Academic Council was established by an Act proposed by the Jharkhand State Legislature. Jharkhand Governor on 26 December 2003 then gave his consent for Jharkhand Academic Council which was known as Jharkhand Academic Council Act 2 July 2003.
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) was established for holding and conducting examinations at the end of Intermediate Education, Secondary Education, Sanskrit Education and Madrasa Education. Besides this, JAC also prescribes courses of studies for such examinations and recommends recognition of Intermediate Educational Institutions, High Schools, Sanskrit Schools and Madrasas to the State Government. In addition, it also carries out duties assigned to the council by the State Govt from time to time.
