Gutta-Ponappa won women's doubles of Canada Open Badminton tournament 2015

In the final played at Calgary, the third seeded Indo-pair defeated top Dutch pair of Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek in straight games of 21-19, 21-16.

Indian pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwni Ponappa on 28 June 2015 won the women's doubles of Canada Open Badminton tournament 2015. In the final played at Calgary, the third seeded Indian pair defeated top Dutch pair of Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek in straight games of 21-19, 21-16.

This was first title of the 2015 season for Gutta and Ponappa.
