Japan’s biggest Auto maker Toyota Moto Corps on 10 October 2012 decided to call back more than 7.4 million vehicles globally, to rectify the faulty Power Window Switches, having a potential of fire hazards. The recall will hardly take 45 minutes time in replacement of the malfunctioning switch of the power window on drivers’ side and is going to affect the cars in US, Europe and China.

The recall would include Yaris and Corolla models of Toyota corps. This recall is one of the biggest single recalls for rectification by the Toyota Moto corps after 1996, when it called off 8 million on road vehicles for replacement of the defective ignition switches that would have been a cause of serious engine fire outbreaks.
