The candidates eligible for the post can apply online through the prescribed format on or before 10 June 2016.
Under Chief Engineer’s office, Public Works Department, Govt of Chhattisgarh Recruitment 2016 out of total 255 posts, 03 Posts are for Stenographer, 38 Posts are for Assistant Draftsman (Civil), 20 Posts are for Tracer (Civil), 137 posts are for Assistant Grade-III, 34 Posts are for Data entry Operator and 23 Posts are for Steno Typist.
Eligibility for Stenographer: candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent forma recognised board with Diploma/Certificate in Data Entry Operator/Programming; candidate should have speed of 100 wpm in stenography and 10000 Key depressions per hour typing speed.
Eligibility for Assistant Draftsman (Civil): candidate should have Diploma in Architecture or Diploma in Civil Engineering (Draughtsman ship) from Industrial Training Institute.
Eligibility for Tracer (Civil): candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Drawing as One of the Subject or should have Surveyor Trade Certificate.
Eligibility for Assistant Grade-III: candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent forma recognised board and should have speed of 60 WPM in Hindi Stenography. Candidate should have Diploma/Certificate in Data Entry Operator/Programming with speed of 5000 key depressions per hour.
Eligibility for Data Entry Operator: candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent forma recognised board and should have speed of 60 WPM in Hindi Stenography. Candidate should have Diploma/Certificate in Data Entry Operator/Programming with speed of 5000 key depressions per hour.
Eligibility for Steno Typist: candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent forma recognised board and should have speed of 60 WPM in Hindi Stenography. Candidate should have Diploma/Certificate in Data Entry Operator/Programming with speed of 5000 key depressions per hour.
The Board has prescribed strict selection procedure for recruitment to the posts. For all the posts (except Tracer and Assistant Draughtsman) students will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in the ratio of 1:5. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for Computer skill test. Candidates qualifying the Computer skill test, will then be called for the written test. The final merit list will be drawn on the basis of all these tests
