Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Department of Agriculture & Cooperation invited the application for the post in various disciplines for deputation. Under Central Institute of Horticulture, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation Recruitment 2016, out of total 16 posts, 02 posts are allotted to Horticulture Specialist, 01 post is allotted to Post Harvest Technologist, 01 post is allotted to Marketing Specialist/Economist, 01 post is allotted to Administrative Officer, 03 posts are allotted to Assistant Horticultural Specialist, 01 post is allotted to Senior Farm Manager, 02 posts are allotted to Senior Technician Assistants, 01 post is allotted to Stenographer- Grade I, 02 posts are allotted to Field Assistant and 02 posts are allotted to Stenographer, Group ‘C’.
Eligibility for Horticulture Specialist: Master’s Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture or M.Sc. (Horticulture) from a recognized University; and or equivalent followed by a PhD in Horticulture.
Eligibility for Post Harvest Technologist: Master’s Degree in Post Harvest Technology/Horticulture/Agriculture from a recognized University or Institute.
Eligibility for Marketing Specialist: Master of Business Administration (Marketing) or Master of Business Economics or Master of Arts (Economics) from a recognized University or Institution.
Eligibility for Administrative Officer: Degree from a recognized University/Institute.
Eligibility for Assistant Horticultural Specialist: Master’s Degree in Agriculture with specialisation in Horticulture or M.Sc.(Horticulture) from a recognized University.
Eligibility for Senior Farm Manager: M.Sc. in Horticulture / Agriculture with specialisation in Horticulture from a recognized University.
Eligibility for Senior Technical Assistant: Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture from a recognized University or Institute.
Eligibility for Stenographer Grade I: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Eligibility for Field Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject or Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture of a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.
